Flu and Covid-19 can be serious illnesses, particularly for older people, those with underlying health conditions, and anyone living with or caring for vulnerable people. Vaccination is the single most effective way to reduce your risk.
At Carlton Lane Pharmacy we offer both NHS-funded vaccinations for eligible patients and private vaccinations for those who wish to protect themselves outside of the NHS programme. Appointments are available Monday to Friday and on selected Saturdays.
Who Qualifies for a Free
NHS Vaccination?

Adults Aged 65 & Over
Everyone aged 65 and over qualifies for a free NHS flu vaccination every year. It is one of the most important things you can do to protect your health through winter.
Chronic Health Conditions
Patients with asthma, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, neurological conditions, or a weakened immune system qualify for free flu vaccination.
Carers & Care Workers
If you are the primary carer for an elderly or disabled person, or a frontline health and social care worker, you may be eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination.
Pregnant Women
Flu can be particularly serious during pregnancy. All pregnant women are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination at any stage of pregnancy, protecting both mother and baby.
Children Aged 2–17
Children aged 2–17 are offered a nasal spray flu vaccine. Children with certain health conditions are also eligible. Speak to your GP for details on eligibility.
Not NHS Eligible?
We offer private flu vaccinations for all adults not covered under the NHS programme. Call us for current private pricing and to book your slot.
Vaccinations We Provide
Seasonal Flu Vaccine
The seasonal flu vaccine is updated each year to match the flu strains expected to circulate. We administer both the NHS and private versions for eligible and non-eligible patients respectively.
Covid-19 Booster
Covid-19 booster vaccinations are available for eligible patients as part of the NHS vaccination programme. Our pharmacist will confirm your eligibility and administer your booster safely.
Combined Flu & Covid Appointment
It is safe and convenient to receive both the flu and Covid-19 vaccines at the same appointment. Our pharmacist can administer them together to save you time and a second visit.
